SUBJECT:  ESG Policy for LinerGame ApS

This is LinerGame ApS‘s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policy. LinerGame is a globally operating small business delivering simulation-based maritime logistics education and workshop experiences. As a knowledge-based services business with a distributed international facilitator network, we are committed to operating responsibly, minimising our environmental footprint, and contributing positively to the industries and communities we serve.

We are committed to using business as a force for good and balancing commercial success with purpose. We recognise that our operations — including international travel for workshop delivery, the physical production of game materials, and our engagement with clients across multiple jurisdictions — carry social and environmental responsibilities. We are committed to mitigating these impacts and creating value for all our stakeholders.

To achieve these goals, we have reviewed our environmental and social issues and impacts and set appropriate performance objectives and targets. Our ESG policy is based on the following principles:

Environmental Sustainability: We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations, with a focus on travel-related emissions, physical materials, and energy use. We will achieve these goals by:

  • Monitoring and reporting our greenhouse gas emissions — with particular focus on facilitator travel — and setting reduction targets over time.
  • Offsetting unavoidable carbon emissions through credible, verified carbon offset programmes, with the goal of being carbon neutral in our operations.
  • Designing and producing workshop game materials with durability and longevity in mind, to minimise waste and reduce the frequency of replacement.
  • Encouraging the use of digital communications and remote engagement wherever appropriate to reduce unnecessary travel.
  • Implementing a waste reduction approach at all workshop venues, including responsible disposal and recycling of printed or physical materials.

Social Responsibility: We are committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and safe environment for participants, facilitators, and partners, and to contributing positively to the maritime and logistics industry. We will achieve these goals by:

  • Providing fair and equal access to learning opportunities, and fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect across all our workshops and business interactions.
  • Ensuring that our facilitators, suppliers, and business partners share our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices, including human rights, fair labour standards, and anti-corruption.
  • Supporting the professional development of maritime and logistics practitioners globally, with a particular commitment to emerging markets and under-served industry segments.
  • Engaging with industry associations, academic institutions, and community organisations that align with our mission to advance knowledge and capability in the maritime supply chain sector.

Corporate Governance: We are committed to transparency, accountability, and good governance, and to ensuring that our business practices align with our mission and values. We will achieve these goals by:

  • Maintaining high standards of ethics, integrity, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all jurisdictions in which we operate.
  • Encouraging stakeholder engagement and feedback, and being transparent about our business practices, pricing, and impacts.
  • Measuring and reporting our ESG performance and progress, and continuously improving our policies and practices through regular review.
  • Ensuring that LinerGame’s intellectual property, client data, and participant information are managed responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

By adopting this ESG policy, we commit ourselves to creating value for all our stakeholders and promoting sustainable and responsible business practices. We believe these values are essential to building trust and credibility with our clients, workshop participants, facilitators, investors, and the wider maritime and logistics community.
